Even Start Grant received from the Department of Education,
funds two Adult Basic Education Classes.
- Parents
pursue GED's
- Children
are transported to an early education and care classroom
at R-Club
- Parent
and children spend a part of each day together, participating
in literacy activities
- Home
visits are provided to promote literacy in the home
To
be eligible, the parent must:

be 16 years of age or older
-
not be enrolled in a Pinellas County School
-
have one child under the age of eight.

meet income and academic requirements.
